The Jackson Center is a specialty school for children with cerebral palsy and other motor disabilities. The mission of the Jackson Center is to help children, and on a limited basis, adults with motor disabilities gain greater independence in independence skills. The program focuses on life's most basic skills: sitting, crawling, walking, self-feeding and personal hygiene. The Jackson Center offer 36 weeks of classes per year and serves children from seventeen counties in Indiana.

Josh Smalling grew up in Mooresville, Indiana; graduating from Mooresville High School in 2003. Not wasting anytime to continue his journey in the building trades industry; he began working in the union trades for F.A. Wilhelm Construction in Indianapolis, as he started his own company, and attending Indiana Business College full time. During his union trade days he worked in the masonry department; running heavy equipment and motorized scaffolding at places such as: Eli Lilly, National Starch & Chemical, Camp Atterbury, and Hancock County Hospital. Josh has been working in the construction industry his entire life. Even as a young man learning the value of a dollar at the age of 8 years old as he started working with his father and uncle. Learning hands on from his father, designing and building custom decks, landscaping, painting, custom homes, and several other aspects of residential and light commercial work. He is a go to guy for many within the community with troubleshooting issues, house flipping, rental property, rehabbing, and solving issues for realtors in a quick fashion with great communication skills along the way. He offers a full range of services, he is the one stop shop so to speak.

Formed from the proceeds of the sale of Kendrick Memorial Hospital, the Kendrick Foundation reflects the long service of the hospital to the health of the community. It has become an extension of the lifework of William Kendrick, M.D., and all who preceded him in the 100 years of service given at Kendrick Memorial Hospital.

The Kendrick Foundation is leading health initiatives for Morgan County. With assets over $30 million, the Kendrick Foundation provides grant and scholarship funds to medical and health programs, and supports community outreach, healthcare education, and programs for the medically indigent.
