See below and attached. Any ideas of community needs that could be addressed by hiring dislocated workers in the county for temporary jobs paid by this grant? Also there could be a training component if appropriate.
I have to turn in ideas Monday morning at latest to Interlocal Association. Friday would be better.
1. Specific community needs
2. Proposed jobs
3. Rate of pay (guesstimate)
6. List of and/or plan for identifying and coordinating with local agencies

Hello, this is a follow up to our conference call that just ended, related to the US Department of Labor National Health Emergency Dislocated Worker Grant (in response to COVID-19 outbreak)
As Lance noted, we participated in a conference call this afternoon with other Regions, and DWD management staff, about the preparation of a proposal to submit that would go in from DWD on behalf of the Regions, and then be allocated out.
DWD needs to get feedback from each Region quickly to put this together to submit to DOL for consideration.
What types of employment do you believe would be needed in your communities that temporary workers could provide, based on the COVID outbreak and economic hardships created?
Thank you, and let me know if any questions.
Pat
